For authorities and organizations with rescue tasks, we now offer various compact cases integrated with Restube products and spare cartridges in order to optimally support the third-party rescue during water operations.
Our extensive study on “Safety In The Water For Our Rescue Organisations” recently showed that water rescue is extremely important for many authorities, but at the same time lacks suitable equipment. For example, only half of all respondents said that they regularly carry appropriate equipment for third-party rescue.
Depending on the predominant scenarios, you can choose between four different cases and corresponding case content.
THE DIFFERENT RESTUBE VERSIONS FOR THE USE OF BOUYS IN THE OVERVIEW
Restube automatic inflates automatically in contact with water. It can be thrown at a person in the water from a safe distance and provides helpful buoyancy in just a few seconds – ideal for first responders, who should not put themselves in dangerous situation. The person involved in the accident can hold on to the inflated buoy or lean safely over it to keep the airways above the water. By the way, Restube automatic is so compact that it can also be carried by a drone and, by using a dropping system, can be placed directly next to a person in the water. A demonstration of the Restube automatic can be found in this video:
Restube lifeguard was developed in close cooperation with the Swiss Lifesaving Association as well as lifeguards from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, lifeguards from the German Lifesaving Association and the Water Rescue Service. The manually triggerable buoy has the same 75N buoyancy as the standard Restube, but it has a complete pulling system and two buckling points, so that it can be placed very easily around the body of the person involved in the accident and fastened by using four eyelets and a carabiner. Lifeguards around the world successfully use Restube lifeguard in their daily operations – for whitewater rescue operations, as additional gear in their emergency vehicles or during patrols.
