Why do I need additional buoyancy when kitesurfing?

Additional buoyancy can often resolve a problematic situation in the water, and knowing that you have buoyancy with you just in case will allow you to enjoy your kite adventure more freely and relaxed.

Remember, even the best equipment can be damaged or you can be unexpectedly separated from your equipment. Having additional buoyancy directly on your body and with you at all times is vital. Other people in the water may also need help. By handing them a buoyancy compensator from a safe distance, you can help them effectively without putting yourself in danger.

Who is Restube extreme for?

Restube extreme is made from extra strong buoy and bag material, making it ideal for rough conditions in and on the water. The split pin closure also prevents accidental opening of the bag.

Restube extreme is suitable for kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing and stand-up paddling in waves or on the river.

Can I use Restube more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.

How many times can a CO2 cartridge be used?

A CO2 cartridge can be used to trigger the Restube once. Afterwards, the empty CO2 cartridge must be removed, and a new original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge must be inserted.

You can also blow up the Restube manually using the mouth valve. This is a practical option if you are using the Restube as a swimming buoy, or for snorkeling.
