Wir lieben Wasser und sind begeistert von Menschen, die ihre Passion für Wassersport das ganze Jahr über ausleben. Einer davon ist Ray Kelly aus dem Nordosten von England. Er hat uns über sein Erlebnis beim Schwimmen mit Restube erzählt:
„Ich bin an der Küste Nordost-Englands in der Nordsee geschwommen, als eine Mitschwimmerin plötzlich Probleme bekam. Ich und zwei Kollegen sind direkt zu ihr geschwimmen, ich habe dann sofort mein Restube ausgelöst. Der Ausdruck von Erleichterung in ihrem Gesicht ist unvergesslich! In Sekunden war die Panik verflogen. Bis wir wieder an Land waren hat sie sich gerne auf der Restube Boje abgestützt. Tolles Produkt, das ich schon oft beim Schwimmen dabei hatte. Benutzen musste ich es noch nie, jetzt weiß ich, wie gut es funktioniert.“

In unserer noch kurzen Firmengeschichte konnten wir bereits über 30 Menschen mit Restube retten. Die Idee ist einfach: Restube ist so klein und leicht, dass du es immer dabei hast – mit dem Gürtel um die Hüfte oder direkt an deinem Equipment befestigt. Ein Zug am Auslöser und die Restube-Boje bläst sich auf. Jetzt kannst du dich daran festhalten, mit ihr winken, sie zur Hilfe an andere weitergeben oder sie hinter dir herziehen und zurück an Land schwimmen.
Ein großes Dankeschön an Ray, dass er so ein aufmerksamer Schwimmkollege ist und dass er sein Erlebnis mit uns geteilt hat.

We love water and we love people that enjoy their water sport all year round. Ray Kelly from North East England is one of them. He told us about his recent experience in water:
"I was swimming in the North Sea, off the coast of North East England, when another swimmer got into trouble. Two colleagues and I swam to her, where I popped my Restube immediately. The look of relief on her face was great to see. She relaxed from her panic in seconds, and happily kept the Restube under her arms until we got back to the beach. Great product, which I swim with many times, but have never needed before. Now I know that it works very well.“

In our short company we have saved over 30 lives with Restube. The idea is simple: Restube is so small and light that you carry it always with you – around your waist or directly attached to your equipment. One pull on the trigger and the Restube buoy inflates. Now you can hold on to the buoy, wave to signal your position, hand it over to help others or drag it behind you and swim back to shore.
