This system is so user friendly and such a great piece of equipment to take swimming, rock fishing or for any water activity. I bought the Restube active and replacement cartridges. It’s so easy to set up, use, exchange used cartridges and so compact, doesn’t get in the way when you are swimming. I highly recommend the purchase of the product if you are a regular water activity person, it’s the best money you’ll ever spend!

Great idea and now a stable with our family.

Look, nothing is going to beat swimming lessons and time in the water to get that confidence up.
But the Aussie beaches are dangerous and the rips are fast and furious. This is just a backup option when our kids are with other family/friends.
We purchased 4 with some backup cannisters so I could test one. It worked perfectly, fast and about 95% inflated. The manual air input is one way as well, so its super easy to top up with half a blow, and no air escapes.
If I had to be picky.....repacking them back into the pouches after being deployed, requires a masters degree...

Who is Restube active for?

Restube active is versatile and suitable for a wide range of activities on and in the water - both training and competition.

Use Restube active for swimming, stand-up paddling, fishing, boating, triathlon, kayaking and canoeing.

Can I use Restube more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.

Where does RESTUBE produce?

RESTUBE products are mainly produced in Vietnam. The production facility fulfils strict social and environmental standards and is regularly inspected by internal RESTUBE employees as well as external audits.

I am a very good swimmer, so why do I have a need for a Restube?

Even good swimmers are not immune to an accident or a problematic situation in the water. You can get a cramp or suddenly become exhausted. You can get caught in a current or the weather can change. All these situations can cause you to panic. Additional buoyancy usually relaxes you immediately, allowing you to get your bearings and regain your strength.

Also, other people in the water can always be in trouble. By giving them a buoyancy aid such as the Restube buoy, you can often provide effective help without putting yourself in danger.
