Why do I need additional buoyancy when snorkelling?

A cramp, a current, a sudden loss of strength, or suddenly finding yourself too far from shore. Problematic situations in the water are varied and often come as a complete surprise. However, you can plan to carry extra buoyancy for added safety when snorkelling.

Extra buoyancy can often take the edge off an unpleasant situation in the water, and knowing that you have buoyancy with you just in case will allow you to enjoy snorkelling more freely and relaxed.

Also remember that other people in the water may need help. By handing them a buoyancy aid from a safe distance, you can help them effectively without putting yourself in danger.

Who is Restube active for?

Restube active is versatile and suitable for a wide range of activities on and in the water - both training and competition.

Use Restube active for swimming, stand-up paddling, fishing, boating, triathlon, kayaking and canoeing.

How does the swim buoy work?

The swim buoy is very easy to use and quick to attach!

Simply fasten the belt around your waist, inflate the air chamber via the mouth valve and pull the buoy behind you as you swim.

The buoy has almost no resistance in the water.

With the swim buoy pro by RESTUBE, you can also store useful items such as an energy bar or your keys in an area separate from the air chamber, so you always have them to hand.

Can I use Restube more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.
