Why do I need additional buoyancy when fishing?

A strong gust of wind, a big wave or a misstep - there are many unplanned events that can cause a fall into deep water. The shock and clothing can make it difficult to stay afloat.

Additional buoyancy can often provide immediate relief from a problematic situation in the water, and knowing that you have buoyancy with you just in case allows you to enjoy fishing more freely and relaxed.

Also remember that other people in the water may need help. By handing them a buoyancy aid from a safe distance, you can help them effectively without putting yourself in danger.

Who is Restube active for?

Restube active is versatile and suitable for a wide range of activities on and in the water - both training and competition.

Use Restube active for swimming, stand-up paddling, fishing, boating, triathlon, kayaking and canoeing.

Can I use Restube more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.

How many times can a CO2 cartridge be used?

A CO2 cartridge can be used to trigger the Restube once. Afterwards, the empty CO2 cartridge must be removed, and a new original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge must be inserted.

You can also blow up the Restube manually using the mouth valve. This is a practical option if you are using the Restube as a swimming buoy, or for snorkeling.
