How Restube works

A very flexible and strong connection to your gear is possible due to the crossed belts at the backside of the bag. You can adjust it up to 7cm wide belt systems. At kite or windsurfing Restube is mostly mounted right at the belts of the harness hook. Professionals adapt Restube sometimes directly at their harness.

Splint closing system for rough conditions

While most Restubes are closed with Velcro, the split pin closure can withstand the toughest external influences, such as big waves or the extreme forces of parachuting. The pull on the trigger first pulls the split pin out of the guide and then releases the buoy directly.

Smart to have in the ocean

I am glad to have these for myself and my son for the cold Northern California oceans. We love to be in the waves, but the currents can be unpredictable. This is an unobtrusive extra layer of improvised flotation if needed.

Great service, looks like a winner

I wish I'd had a chance to use this before this review, so my review is based on the order, shipping and initial product receipt. Had a minor snafu with shipping out part of our order, but after sending an email noting this, there was instantly a new order "shipped" email and the missing item was in hand a few days later. Everything looks well made and exactly as described. Exceited to try this out.

Restube extreme repacking issues

Nice and small to not get in the way. Deploys with minimal effort.
However a pain in the ass to pack all back in and yes that’s following exact directions.
Would greatly benefit if they would just make the pouch a touch bigger. I and others re packed and even pulled YouTube videos to help but still a massive pain. The videos show it with complete ease but it is far from it. Perhaps maybe I just got a pouch that’s too small from a manufacturing issue….who knows.
That being said, I still believe this device could save your life and is a wise choice to have on you no matter how great of a swimmer.
