In a critical situation it is most important that the airways are not submerged, i.e. that the head is above the water up to at least mouth. To do this, about 4kg must be lifted out of the water. If you lean over the buoy, Restube's buoyancy is sufficient. Restube beach has a drive of 50 Newtons, which lifts about 5kg out of the water. This is also sufficient for an adult, even if the 75N versions of Restube are of course a bit more comfortable.

Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.
