The inflatable Safety Buoy for children aged 10 and over

Whether playing at the beach, swimming in the lake or in full action during water sports: KIDS brings fun and extra safety to children without restricting them, while parents can relax, too. The buoy is stowed in the bag, which is worn comfortably around the waist. A pull of the trigger inflates the yellow Satey Buoy in seconds. Simply lean over it and the head can remain relaxed above the water or wave it to attract attention. The inflated buoy is also suitable for water games: towing each other, practising diving into the depths or using the buoy as a water bat. There are no limits to the fun in the water! KIDS is reusable by screwing in a new original 10.9g CO2 cartridge, very easy to pack, it can also be inflated by mouth.

Please note: KIDS safety buoy is not a life jacket and does not replace adult supervision. It is a buoyancy aid designed for light water activities near the shore.

Wenn du die Boje manuell aufbläst, solltest du entweder die CO₂-Kartusche eingeschraubt lassen oder einen Trigger Protector am Auslöser verwenden.
Das ist wichtig, um die Dichtigkeit der Boje zu gewährleisten und den Auslöser zu schützen.
Du kannst die Boje also manuell aufblasen, lass dafür bitte einfach die Kartusche eingedreht oder nutze den Trigger Protector.

Warum ist die Restube erst ab 10 Jahren? Geht es um Größe/Gewicht oder um das Verständnis, wie die Tube benutzt wird? Ich traue das meinem fast 9 jährigem Kind durchaus zu 😉

10 Jahre ist unsere offizielle Empfehlung. Wir haben in Tests auch festgestellt, dass jüngere Kinder Restube zuverlässig auslösen können und dann könnt ihr das natürlich auch nutzen.

Wir empfehlen aber unbedingt zusammen eine Trockenauslösung zu machen, dass dein Kind, weiß wie es sich anfühlt, wenn sich die Boje mit Luft füllt.

Was ist denn der genaue Unterschied zwischen Restube Kids und Restube Beach? Was macht das Restube Kids jetzt genau Kinderspezifisch? Auftrieb, Länge, Gewicht, scheinen ja identisch zu sein. Meine 10-jährige Wasserratte (Silber Abzeichen) trägt zum SUPen den Restube Beach.

die Boje ist genau die gleiche beim Restube kids und Restube beach. Das Restube kids hat ein anderes Muster, das besonders den Kids gefallen dürfte. Wenn ihr schon ein Restube Beach habt, dann seid ihr ja schon bestens ausgestattet!

Warum empfehlen Sie die Tube erst ab 10 Jahren. Meine Kinder sind 7 und 8 Jahre. Können 15 Minuten ohne Probleme schwimmen (Bronze Abzeichen) aber am See und im Meer würde ich mich sicherer fühlen, wenn sie eine resttube hätte. Ist es denn gefährlich für Kinder unter 10 Jahren oder unter einem bestimmten Gewicht?

aus unseren Erfahrungen haben wir festgestellt, dass Kinder ab 10 Jahren Restube zuverlässig selbst auslösen können. Es spricht an sich aber nichts dagegen, dass auch jüngere Kinder Restube benutzen. Wir empfehlen hier vorher Restube zusammen mit deinen Kindern auszulösen, sodass sie wissen wie man Restube richtig auslöst und die Funktion einmal selbst gesehen hat.

Who is KIDS for?

KIDS is recommended for children 10 years and older. The child must understand that in an emergency situation the trigger must be actively pulled to release the CO2 cartridge and inflate the buoy.

It is best for the child to practise the active release a few times in a pool or shallow water to understand and internalise the process.

How safe is the Safety Buoy?

The Safety bBuoy is made from high-quality materials and is subject to strict safety controls. It offers fast buoyancy, but as with any safety product, its function also depends on correct use and care.

Can I use the RESTUBE Safety Buoy more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 CARTRIDGE, the Safety Buoy is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains the safety buoy incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 CARTRIDGE that must be screwed in before use. After use, the safety buoy is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 CARTRIDGES are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that the safety buoy will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.

How many times can a CO2 cartridge be used?

A CO2 cartridge can be used to trigger the Safety Buoy once. Afterwards, the empty CO2 cartridge must be removed, and a new original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge must be inserted.

You can also blow up the Safety Buoy manually using the mouth valve. This is a practical option if you are using the Safety Buoy as a swim buoy, or for snorkeling.
