Simply inflate the buoy using the mouth valve. Tie the strap around your waist and tow the buoy behind you while swimming. Once BEACH / ONE has been activated, you can easily reuse it. Simply insert a new CO2 cartridge and store the folded buoy back in your bag. Your safety buoy is now ready to use again and will keep providing you with peace of mind in, on and around the water.

Besseres und sichereres Gefühl beim Schwimmen.

Konnte die restube beach Ende des Sommers noch 2 mal ausprobieren. Beim ersten Mal gleich einen Auslöse-Testversuch mit der Patrone gemacht. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Bläst sich sehr schnell auf und man kann sich dran hängen. Entweder in Rückenlage mit beiden Armen umgreifend oder in Vorlage unter die Arme im Brust-Bauchbereich. Mich als Leichtgewicht mit knappen 65 kg hält die Beach über Wasser, ohne dass ich große aktiv sein muss.
Sinnvolles Backup finde ich, gerade an einsamen Stellen und wenn man weiter raus schwimmt. Sicher auch sehr hilfreich jemandem anderen leichter helfen zu können.
Danach trocknen lassen und wieder zusammenfalten.

Test positiv verlaufen

Ich habe vor ca. 3 Wochen einen Restube Beach gekauft. Ich las alles genau durch (wobei die beigelegte Bedienungsanleitung viel zu klein geschrieben ist - ich half mir mit der elektronischen Version, die ich am Bildschirm vergrösserte). Mit der eingeschraubten Patrone habe ich überall etwas herumgezogen und herumgedrückt und machte mir Sorgen, ob das Ziehen des Auslösers im Notfall nicht zu streng ist. Ab in den See damit, schwimmen. Aber immer diese nagende Frage: Tut das Ding im Ernstfall tatsächlich? Ich entschied mich für einen Test und informierte den zweiten Badegast, ich würde einen Testlauf durchführen. Ein kurzer Griff zum Auslöser, ziehen, ein Ruck - und ich hatte den aufgeblasenen Restube vor der Nase. Ich hängte mich darüber und er trug mich. Wieder zu Hause gemäss Bedienungsanleitung trocknen lassem, Ersatzpatrone eingesetzt und genau nach Vorgabe gefalzt. Jetzt weiss ich, Restube funktioniert. Und der Auslöser ist nicht zu streng.

Who is BEACH / ONE for?

Restube beach is for the whole family - for parents, kids and even grandma! The recommended minimum age for children is 10 years. The child must understand that the trigger must be actively pulled to release the CO2 cartridge and inflate the buoy.

Restube beach is suitable for activities on the water and near the shore in swimwear.

What is the difference between the BEACH, ACTIVE and EXTREME Safety Buoy?

BEACH has a buoyancy of 50N and is ideal for families, children and seniors for leisure activities on and in the water. It is also suitable for stand up paddlers in swimwear in the summer - wherever there are no swimming aid regulations. ACTIVE has 75N buoyancy and is ideal for swimming or stand-up paddling, for training or competitions. EXTREME has a buoyancy of 75 N and is suitable for rough conditions when kite- and windsurfing, surfing or in professional use.

Can I use Restube more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 cartridge, Restube is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains Restube incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge that must be screwed in before use. After use, Restube is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that Restube will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.

How many times can a CO2 cartridge be used?

A CO2 cartridge can be used to trigger the Restube once. Afterwards, the empty CO2 cartridge must be removed, and a new original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge must be inserted.

You can also blow up the Restube manually using the mouth valve. This is a practical option if you are using the Restube as a swimming buoy, or for snorkeling.
