Yes, the Safety Buoy may be taken on a plane. Depending on the version, original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges contain 16g or 10.9g CO2 and are under pressure. They are considered a hazardous material in air transport. However, according to the IATA and LBA, passengers may take up to two CO2 cartridges with them in combination with the Safety Buoy. Register RESTUBE CO2 cartridges promptly before your trip begins by phone with the airline and carry a written confirmation from the airline (email) and the green flyer during your trip.
