More and more drone owners are protecting their drone in case of a crash over water. The goal is to be able to recover the drone. On the one hand, the batteries should not be left in the water, on the other hand, the recorded data is valuable and the insurance companies usually do not pay if the drone can no longer be found. If your drone crashes into the water, a AUTOMATIC 75 can prevent it from sinking, allowing it to be retrieved. AUTOMATIC 75 is a buoy that inflates itself within seconds on contact with water using a CO2 cartridge. The immediate buoyancy of the buoy is 7.5 kg. This means that drones with a take-off weight of up to 6.5 kg can be easily kept afloat with AUTOMATIC 75. Heavier drones can be equipped with multiple AUTOMATIC 75s to increase lift accordingly.

Given the diversity of drone models and the rapid evolution of UAV technology, rescue teams typically implement customized deployment solutions. These are often developed in close collaboration with drone manufacturers and system integrators to ensure operational safety and compatibility.

Since RESTUBE AUTOMATIC 180 provides at least 100 N of buoyancy and, when combined with a floating rescue line of at least 10 meters, it is recognized as an approved rescue throw device in certain regions of Germany and can be used as an alternative to a traditional lifebuoy. Please ensure to verify the applicable rules and regulations in your country.
