The Safety Buoy for trained lifeguards was developed in close cooperation with lifeguards from the German and Swiss Lifesaving Association. Stowed in its own pouch or attached to equipment, it is immediately ready for use. Due to its compact size, it doesn’t disturb while swimming. The lifeguard can even dive through waves or deep water to reach a person below the water's surface. Pulling the trigger inflates the 80cm long bendable LIFEGUARD buoy within seconds. A buoyancy of 75N is provided to transport a person of any stature.
The signal colour of the buoy and a SOLAS reflector strip ensure high visibility in open water. A 1.80m long leash allows the lifeguard to swim while towing the buoy and victim back to shore. On the 3.8cm wide belt there is a buckle with an emergency release function. This allows the lifeguard to detach completely from the system with just one movement if needed for example: during a swift water rescue. LIFEGUARD is reusable by screwing in a new CO2 CARTRIDGE (16g). Lifeguards worldwide use LIFEGUARD in water and swiftwater rescues often as an additional buoyancy aid to remain flexible and respond to different scenarios.

It is that compact, lightweight and robust and can be placed always ready at hand. If on a motorbike, a car, on board, attached to a drone or worn. To provide first help it can be thrown to another person. For a drone there are two use cases: First - the flotation can be carried directly to a person with a automatic drop or lay system. Second - the system can be attached to a drone to keep a crashed drone afloat for recovery. AUTOMATIC is reusable by screwing in a new original 16g CO2 cartridge and the water activator. You can get both in a set.

The RESTUBE AUTOMATIC 180 is an automatically activated rescue throw device that has been specially developed for professional use in water rescue. It is ideal for emergency services such as the fire brigade, police, DLRG and other water rescue organisations. Its automatic release function upon contact with water provides fast and safe first aid for up to four people – even from a safe distance, whether from the shore, a boat, a helicopter or a drone.
With RESTUBE AUTOMATIC 180, emergency services are optimally prepared for emergencies and can save lives without putting themselves in danger.
In combination with the 15-metre-long, buoyant rescue line from AUTOMATIC 180, it is approved as a rescue throwing device in accordance with the Lake Constance Shipping Regulations and offers a compact, space-saving alternative to the classic lifebuoy.
