Heidelberg Triathlon 2026 – Together for a Safe Race Day

RESTUBE as Official Safety Partner: What a weekend!

Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of supporting the Heidelberg Triathlon for the very first time as the event's official Safety Partner. For us, this race is something truly special – not only because of its stunning setting and challenging course, but above all because of the incredible people who bring it to life.

From the early hours of the morning, there was a unique atmosphere along the Neckar River. The final preparations in the transition area, focused athletes, excited conversations, perfect triathlon weather, and a shared sense of anticipation made one thing clear: this was going to be a fantastic race day.

The Course: Swim, Bike, Run Trough Heidelberg

After the 1.6 km swim in the Neckar, athletes faced the legendary bike course with its demanding climb up the Königstuhl before taking on the final run, which pushed everyone to their limits. It's no surprise that the Heidelberg Triathlon is widely regarded as one of Germany's toughest – and most beautiful – Olympic-distance triathlons.

Our Role as Safety Partner

As the official Safety Partner, we worked alongside the water rescue teams and the event organizers to help ensure a safe swim course. It's great to see how water safety has become an integral part of professionally organized triathlon events, and we're proud to contribute to that mission.

Water safety at open-water swim events isn't just a formality – it's what allows athletes to focus fully on their race, knowing the swim course is covered. That's exactly the peace of mind RESTUBE stands for, on race day and beyond. Many triathletes carry the ACTIVE for that reason, on every open-water-swim.

Meeting the Community at the RESTUBE Booth

For us, the weekend was also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and meet many new ones. At the RESTUBE booth, we had countless inspiring conversations about water safety, prevention, and our shared passion for watersports. Those personal connections are what make events like this so special.

Thank You – And See You in 2027

A heartfelt thank you goes to the entire Heidelberg Triathlon organizing team, the many volunteers, the water rescue teams, and everyone whose dedication made this event possible. Events like these are built on people working together and that spirit was evident throughout the entire day.

We are truly grateful to have been part of this fantastic event and are already looking forward to returning for the Heidelberg Triathlon 2027.

See you on the water!
