Sun, Sea, and a Big Dose of Safety
When you think of summer in Portugal, the first images that come to mind are endless beaches, waves, and sunshine. That’s exactly the setting we experienced this year at the Red Seagull Summer Camp. For two weeks, our days revolved around swimming, playing, learning – and above all, water safety.
40 Kids, Two Weeks, Unforgettable Memories
In total, 40 children and teenagers joined the camp this summer. On the very first day, excitement was in the air: pitching tents, jumping into the ocean for the first time, meeting new friends, and the big question on everyone’s mind – “What will it feel like to swim this far out in the open water?”

And in the evenings, we’d gather around the campfire, sharing stories from the day and planning the next adventure in the sea.
Looking Ahead: Bigger and Better
This summer, we ran the camp for two weeks with 40 participants in total. Next year, we’re expanding to four weeks, with up to 30 kids each week – that’s as many as 120 young swimmers ready for a safe and exciting ocean adventure. And yes, RESTUBE will be with us again, keeping safety front and center.
Our Takeaway
This camp was packed with energy, laughter, new skills, and unforgettable moments. Having RESTUBE by our side gave everyone that extra layer of confidence to truly enjoy the open water.
