"On a recent trip to the Outer Banks N.C. we had a very rough surf with strong rip currents. Although my adult sons and I love bodysurfing the waves, one of my sons got caught in a rip tide which pushed him out 25 yds from us. It was terrifying to watch and I felt unprepared to rescue him if needed (he was able to make it back in).
I bought the Restube extreme so I would never again feel that sense of helplessness. I am returning to the beach this week and will have the Restube strapped to my waist. Hope to never have to deploy it! I also participate in triathlons and may use it as a buoy for my practice swims."
