Ich bin seit einer halben Ewigkeit zum ersten Mal wieder im Meer schwimmen gewesen und hatte davor einen langen Krankenhaus Aufenthalt, also quasi 0 Kondition! Die Boje ist sehr leicht und lässt sich super falten zum Mitnehmen. Sie ist angenehm beim Schwimmen.
Gestört haben mich die ~30.-Euro Zollkosten. mit denen habe ich nicht gerechnet. Das teure daran war das Öffnen des Paketes. Möglicherweise könnte eine Deklaration auf dem Paket helfen.

Who is the complete set for sporty swimmers suitable for?

Open water is risky and requires optimal preparation to minimize the dangers and maximize the enjoyment.

This kit is ideal for swimmers and open water athletes who want to feel safe and comfortable during their activities.

How does the swim buoy work?

The SWIM BUOY is very easy to use and quick to attach!

Simply fasten the belt around your waist, inflate the air chamber using the mouth valve and pull the buoy behind you as you swim.

The buoy has almost no drag in the water.

When using the SWIM BUOY PRO, you can also store useful items such as an energy bar or your keys in an area separate from the air chamber so they are always at hand.

What are the differences between a SWIM BUOY and a SWIM BUOY PRO?

Both products are recommended if you need permanent visibility and additional buoyancy for emergencies in the water.

If you want a dry compartment to store your belongings, the SWIM BUOY PRO is your choice. The same applies if you want to add cool accessories such as a mobile phone case, action camera or shoulder straps.

Additional safety features such as reflector strips, LED light and whistle can be added to both models.

How heavy can I be for the buoy to keep me afloat?

When you lean over the buoy, it lifts your airway - the part from your head to your mouth - out of the water. The part of the head up to the mouth is about the same weight for most people. This means that the swim buoy works regardless of the user's height or body shape.

What's the predetermined breaking point by RESTUBE?

Situations may arise where you may want to part with your Restube in a matter of seconds.

For example, because the line has snagged on a stone – rivers pose a risk in this respect. You can open the belt around your waist with one click and completely separate yourself from Restube.

However, if this is not possible, the predetermined breaking point will help, as it automatically separates the Restube buoy from the line from a pull of 15 kg.

The predetermined breaking point is reusable, just slide the eyelet onto the buoy again.
