How pfd by RESTUBE works
"pfd by RESTUBE" is approved in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12402-5 and can be worn wherever the law prescribes a swimming aid for this standard. If you are a boat driver or stand up paddler, make sure to find out about the local regulations, which can vary.
With a pull of the trigger, the pfd by RESTUBE inflates in seconds. The square float is directly connected to the belt, then simply put the neck strap over your head and wait for help.
A small strap is attached to the belt, where you can hang the SUP safety leash. So you have a hip leash instead of a foot leash, which is very pleasant when paddling. Just try it out.
- Small and robust, always on hand
- Enough buoyancy for an adult
- Also inflatable by mouth
- Reusable up to 50 times
ANNA TSCHIRKY, STAND-UP PADDLER
"As a SUP athlete, I am on the water a lot. In Switzerland, it is mandatory to carry a CE approved swimming aid such as the "pfd by RESTUBE" from a distance of 300m from the bank. Restube is so small and light, it doesn't bother you during training, but it is equipped with the necessary certificate and can save lives in an emergency. That's why I wear them practically always and everywhere, whether on the lake, in the sea while SUP surfing or with a downwinder.“
After i had the normal restube in use for years, it's now time to advance to the PFD if i go to regions where a PFD is required or to give it to a friend, who goes paddleboarding with me.
Fingers crossed, that i wil never really need the PFD.
I just couldn't figure out how to use the leg belt correctly since this isn't covered in the manual.
